Class participants enjoy a 10% off discount. Take advantage of this discount to purchase the supplies you require for classes. Come a few minutes early on class day and we will assist you in finding the right supplies for the class and you will receive 10% off on all regular priced merchandise.

Please note our classes start at the stated time and late comers might not be able to join the class if the class is already in progress. Class fee is payable at time of booking and is non-refundable and non-transferable to another class. However, if you cannot attend, you are welcome to send a friend in your place, but you must let us know in advance.

Intro to Scrapbooking $20

A little confused about how to get started? What products are safe for your photos? What tools are the best to save you time & money? What are the best page layouts & colour combinations for photos? How to crop and mat photos? How about journaling? This hands-on class covers all of those basic questions and more. By the end of the class, the participants will take home a finished page of their own and will have enough skill, knowledge and confidence to enable them to turn their boxes of photos into fabulously creative and safe keepsake albums that will be enjoyed for generations.
Participants to bring to class: 1 pack of 12 –24 colour photos of the SAME RECENT EVENT . Please do not bring wedding photos or heritage photos for this beginner class. Class participants will receive 10% off on all regular price merchandise.

Mini Album (Back by popular demand) $25 Tacye McLagan
Sat. Sept. 20, 1:30 – 4:30PM
We are offering an amazingly fun and inventive class on creating a 5 x7 Zutter album full of hidden pockets, pull outs, fold overs, etc…which will be ready for photos! We will be using many techniques that you can also use in your everyday scrapbooking or cardmaking like painting, inking, tearing, stamping & more. Space is limited, please book early to avoid disappointment.
Each participant is expected to bring to class a basic tool kit: 12” paper trimmer, black pen, sharp precision scissors, bone folder, piercing tool, a good selection of adhesives (double sided tape like 5mm or 7mm Terrific Tape, pop up dots, mini glue dots, glue pen, etc…) If you do not already have these supplies, they can be purchased before the class a class discount.
Pre-requisite: some scrapbooking experience.

CARD MAKING CLASSES

Christmas Cards & Tags $25 Joanne White

It is never too early to get started on your Christmas Cardmaking. We will be using stamps (wood & clear), embossing templates/paste, punches, great new papers, etc… Come & discover how creative you can be! Each participant is expected to bring to class a basic tool kit: 12” paper trimmer, sharp precision scissors, bone folder, piercing tool, a good selection of adhesives (tape runner, pop up dots, mini glue dots, glue pen, etc.) and silver or gold ink pad for edging. If you do not already have these supplies, they can be purchased before the class at a class discount.


Advanced Burnished Velvet $25 Deanna Pannell from In the Making
Sat. Sept. 27, 11 AM – 2 PM
It is time to learn some new tricks with tape & glitter. This workshop is for those of you who have taken Burnished Velvet Basics, or have played with the technique and have a good overall understanding of it. We will make 3 cards that incorporate pattern development techniques, overlays and an introduction to hand cutting. These skills are invaluable and will come in handy for all of your creative paper projects. Please bring a self heating cutting mat and exacto knife. Each participant is expected to bring to class a basic tool kit: 12” paper trimmer, sharp precision scissors, bone folder, a good selection of adhesives (tape runner, pop up dots, mini glue dots, glue pen, etc.) If you do not already have these supplies, they can be purchased before the class at a class discount.
